Talked to Mom this evening(Greg)

By garlan2

Hey everyone,  Just wanted to get on here and take over my mom’s blog for a minute.Ha!Ha!  Talked to mom a couple of times yesterday and she is sounding better and better.  Dad came home last night and said she has looked better everyday!  I know this doesn’t surprise any of you that know my mom!  She’ll probably ask if she can go jog a couple of miles by the end of the week.  I told her she picked a good time cause we can get out and chase mushrooms when she gets home!  I just wanted to let everyone know how much the whole family appreciates all of the phone calls, cards, hugs, and prayers we have received.  I don’t know who took it harder when we got the news mom or myself.  I fell apart so mom’s motherly instincts took over and she was more worried about me than herself.  I think we are all back on track now due to lots of prayers and now focusing on mom!  I want to also let my wife know how much the whole family loves her, I think mom and dad have found the daughter they never had!!  My wife works at a local hospital and has been on top of this the whole way as you have read in the other blogs!!  She has been my ”rock” through it all and also our family cook!!Ha!!  I got done eating last night and was ready to retire to the recliner, and I got informed I wasn’t done that I needed to run the left overs to dad!!  Mom you better get home soon or stacey will have him fattened up!!Ha!  My dad has been strong through it all and hopefully this bump in our road will just bring us closer together!!  Dad I love you, and we will all get through this together!!  This actually was supposed to be blog about my mom but I guess that went south some where in here, oh well,  everyone checking this blog, we love each and every one of you and keep up the support, Thanks!!

I’m sure if there is a way, Lana will be out hunting mushrooms with you :)

Good to hear news of her impending release (sounds like prison doesn’t it?). By this time, she probably feels like it is prison.

I’m sure she can’t wait to be home with everyone and her recovery will speed right along.

I know she appreciates all that you and Stacey are doing. Keep up the good work!
