Good morning!! I just talked to Lana and she is doing very well. She has a little more pain today than she has, but she said that was to be expected. She said a nurse came in and did something to one of the drain tubes in her breast and every since she has done that she has been hurting. She said she ate some yogurt for breakfast and that wasn’t a good choice, because it didn’t want to stay down. That happened to her yesterday also so she has decided she doesn’t need to eat just yet, because nothing sounded good anyway. They did give her some anti-nausea medication to help. It is cold and snowing in Springfield this morning. She said that her mom, sister and brother in law had came up last night for a little bit. Yesterday Gary’s sister Mari and Shelby came up to visit. Mackenzie and Gabe talked to their “Bo Bo” this morning and that made Mackenzie feel better, because she is ready for her to come home. Again, thank you all for your prayers. We all appreciate them!!

Thanks for the update Stacey.
I’m sure it will take her awhile to feel like eating. Hopefully the pain will subside soon so she can begin to feel better. I’m sure the anti-nausea meds will help with the appetitie. It’s just no fun being stuck in a hospital bed and my heart goes out for her.
I’m sure the kids miss her and can’t wait for her to arrive back home. And I’m sure Lana misses them just as much.
Tell her she continues to be in my thoughts and prayers. On to recovery now!
